About the Owners

I’m Maurice Murriel, and I proudly lead 1-800-Packouts of North Ohio alongside my team members Chris Gaskins and Rick Gottfried. After 24 years of distinguished service in the United States Army, where I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, I was ready to take on a new mission of entrepreneurship. I wanted to continue serving others in a meaningful way, and when I discovered 1-800-Packouts and the restoration industry, I knew it was the perfect fit. It’s a business built on helping people recover and rebuild after loss, which aligns deeply with my values of service, integrity, and excellence.

Throughout my military career, I gained extensive experience in FEMA response, border security operations, and all aspects of supply chain and logistics management. These skills now play a key role in how I manage our operations at 1-800-Packouts of North Ohio with structure, precision, and a strong focus on customer care. My background, paired with an MBA in Business Administration, allows me to bring both strategic leadership and hands-on management to every project we take on.
